Eco Turtle Award

Delphis Eco has presented the Flora Stevenson Primary School in Edinburgh with an Eco Turtle as part of its prize for being the overall winner of the ‘Hot Water Film Awards’ for its film ‘Secret of the Sea’. The competition was run by sustainable awareness group, Cool It Schools, with entries submitted worldwide.

Iain Stewart, Business Manager at Delphis Eco, said: “We have partnered Eco Schools for several years and it is no surprise that the sustainability question is understood and embraced by this age group. The aim of the film award is to highlight to school children and students, aged 4 to 25, that water is the world’s most precious resource. In the field of sustainable chemicals, schools and universities are leading by example and showing everyone that sustainability resourcing is the only way forward.”

Headmistress, Irene Brennan, said: “We are delighted to have won such a fantastic prize. As an Eco School we are always thinking of ways to look after our world and we hope that our animation will be a great reminder to others.’
